Beaumont Hospital forms an integral part of the General Hospital Care Program of the Health Services. It is one of the largest major general hospitals providing acute hospital care services for the Dublin area and is located on the Northside of the city. The hospital provides a 24 hours continuous emergency call service for its own catchment area of approximately 250,000. An average 60 patients per day are admitted for trauma or elective treatment making it one of the busiest general hospital in the country.
